Individual articles
PIARC had organized an international call for individual papers, as for each International Winter Road Congress.
Contributions were invited on 8 specific themes, in order to enrich and broaden the work and reflections of PIARC Technical Committees and Task forces. The proposed articles were evaluated by PIARC Technical Committees and Task forces through a very detailed mechanism.

The authors of the selected articles were invited
to make a presentation at the technical sessions.
In addition, some other authors were invited to
make a presentation at the poster sessions.
In most cases, individual communications are available in English only.
